Things That Could Harm Your Blog Post

©MonZaeMon™ 69 - Making a blog post that will break the records does not only entail a blockbuster thought or a perhaps a major breakthrough to be a hit to many. However, there are cases when bloggers get a hard time making their blog post a success even with the best ideas. What people do not always know is that there are some things that harm your blog as well as your blog posts.
So, what could be the things that bloggers should prevent from doing in order to not harm their own blog posts?
Uninteresting and Unclear Headline

The headline is the cream of the crop. A headline is a blog post’s first offense to get readers’ attentions. The headline is the first thing being displayed in the search engines, social media,
newsletters and many others. So, without a good headline, it won’t be a surprise if the blog post won’t be read or shared.
It is important that a headline should be concise and clear. It should show what the readers will see within the post. Otherwise, readers won’t have a reason why read that particular blog post.
Very Long Paragraphs

Let’s face it. Reading long paragraphs is not a good aspect when it comes to blog posts and is one of the things that harm your blog. Readers easily get tired of just looking at a big lump of words without even starting to read the first sentence. This is an instinct developed by readers who are used to scanning blog posts.
To prevent long paragraphs, the use of bullets, enumerations, tick marks and other markings is advised. This makes it easier for readers to scan blog posts and makes it easier for blog writers to point out what they want their readers to know.
Using Jargon Words

This is one thing that most bloggers tend to forget. The use of jargons is a big No-No in blogging. Readers will most likely find it hard to understand what the thought of the whole blog post is and definitely among the things that bring blog post harm.
As much as possible, blog posts must be consisted of words and terms that most people will easily understand; unless, the blog post is specifically made to be read by people who are knowledgeable of such jargon terms.
No Other Types of Media

A blog post without any other type of content in it is definitely boring. This is another thing that bloggers should take note of. Using other types of media such as images and videos in a blog post is highly advised. In fact, it is considered as a basic element of a blog post.
Plagiarized Content

This is one of the worst things that harm your blog. It is important that this is prevented to make sure nothing bad is going to happen to both your blog and your blog post. Honestly, this issue has been an ongoing one ever since and it creates a lot more problems as it continues to go on.
Here are the things that harm your blog. It is better to know these things in order to prevent them from happening to your blog post, than create unsuccessful blog posts.
